"Yoga was designed to revolutionise your life. Anything less than that is simply exercise." - Max Strom

Yoga is a great workout. And it is much more than that! At Zen Librarian, yoga is taught according to its ancient origin: uniting Mind and Body. In the lessons, we explore the body that we have, with all its individual quirks. We work from there, discovering endless possibilities. The breath is key to every pose, so every class contains elements of pranayama (breathing), asanas (poses) and savasana (meditation).
The emphasis is on the breath working with the body to guide the poses, to come into a safe and mindful practice.

I discovered yoga in 1999, found my first teacher in Zambia, practised under the blue African skies, learnt Ashtanga in dusty Egypt, deepened the Mysore practice in Shanghai. The teacher training in Vinyasa Yoga opened up the world of flow in yoga.

I have been teaching yoga since 2008. I am a qualified yoga teacher (RYT 200) and trained with Hilary Brown at Yoga Moves in the Netherlands,, and David Swensson at Yoga Nidra in Copenhagen.
